  • My last project at the Illinois State Geological Survey :’) When COVID shut down fieldwork, I spent a lot of time staring at our record of drone surveys, thinking about driftwood, and devised this study to figure out if all the trees that had been felled during high water levels were impacting beach processes

  • Identified common transportation pathways through coastal zone
  • Observed only transient, seasonal impacts on shoreline geomorphology during period of rising water level (2009-2020)
